Letters from the Pit

I drew this on the train home and felt the need to work. I took it into Art Rage and found said program to be extremely confusing. I guess I'll have to wait for the other parts of the tutorial.
Looking at it now, I wish I'd have given her black or brown shoes.

Guess who just finished Dragon Quest 4?

GIVE UP!? I really, really like the Dragon Quest games, for reasons that I don't quite understand myself. I guess I just like obsessive grinding. And Akira Toriyoma's designs. Even though, realistically the guy has like four characters that he mixes and matches, I still like the way they look. I finished the first draft of my script and am, mentally, letting it sit for a couple of weeks so I can look at it fresh for when I start my second draft. This leads to me drawing video game characters and Flapjack.

I've been drawing this penguin and rabbit for a couple weeks now and haven't put them in color at all, since I've been in a coloring mood today, I figured that I should do something for 'ol bloggy.

Done in Photoshop copying a post-it I did at work.

Takin it Easy

This is a quick digital painting I did with photographic reference. It's not supposed to be good (luckily!) I just wanted to test some stuff out. It's also one of those mystical drawings that the smaller it is the better it is.
