One Hand Push-ups Like Jack Palance

I've decided that I'm moving on from Outlaw. Besides the fact that it starts dragging ass pretty bad in the second half of the movie, and because I only vaguely remember what happened, makes me feel like it all falls apart pretty quickly. Maybe at some distant point in time I'll finish Outlaw's other two segments, but it's just painful at this point.
This movie is very anti-pants and it's making me uncomfortable. There I've said it and I won't take it back. Also nothing says "evil" like a one-piece silver bathing suit and a cape.

Homestone Runner

Oh man. The world of Gor. I started drawing pictures from OUTLAW from my MST3K experiments because Radar Secret Service has this weird problem that most movies don't have: You can't tell who the hell anyone is. Is that the MAIN villain or a subordinate? They have the EXACT SAME haircut and mustache. The two female leads are the same height, weight, hair color, have the same hairdo, it's awful. So there's like 5 characters in it, and four of them look the same.

Outlaw, if anything, has TOO MANY characters. Set pieces, costumes etc. This movie has a lot of everything. Except believable dialog, interesting characters, an engaging plot, and a main character who doesn't ooze butter in every shot.

Clearly I focused on the oily, gross, rubberfaced nerdlinger a lot, it's partly because he's not in the second act, and partly because I HATE HIM SO MUCH. I've been moving through this movie pretty slowly and may very well have 3(!) more updates of Outlaw drawings. Or I'll get bored of this movie and actually do this for a GOOD movie for once.

A slight delay

I was going to do a MST3K Sunday again, but in the episode I watched literally NOTHING OF NOTE happened. It was so painful to watch that I think I'll take a pass on doing a bunch of drawings of it. Also it was hard to tell all the characters apart because they almost all dressed the same at all times, and like three guys in it had the same mustache.

Radar Secret Service is not a very good movie.

Christmas Break Sketches

These aren't in any order, and aren't in the actual pages they used to be on, but they include: a sketch taken from a photo from 11th grade, a documentary on sleep paralysis, the new Popeye DVD set (which everyone should get, by the way), Drawings inspired by the Popeye DVD set, Preston Blair's book (since I don't like posting my exercises from the book, I actually drew the Preston himself, as seen on the books inside sleeve), a Wednesday night's worth of television, A cartoon I've been kickin' around in the 'ol noodle, among other things. I hope you enjoy these!
