Mon Lunes!

Welp, I started a new sketchbook last week on Friday. I wish I had a physically larger one at times, but this one is literally pocket sized. It feels like the upper left pocket on my default spring jacket was MADE for these Moleskine books. Here are some assorted sketches from breaks.

I'm starting to get a little more stylized. I have no idea if this is a good thing or not, because no one is guiding me. If someone was I don't know if that'd even have a particularly positive impact on this.
Oops! I accidentally saved this picture as a bitmap, but you don't really lose anything because of it. That's the nice thing about rough sketches.

I didn't make the neck of the basketball player nearly long enough. He looks like a man-turtle. When you do a super fast sketch sometimes you wind up with things such as this happening. Also the first basketball game I paid attention to in probably a decade was this past week at work. The Celtics absolutely decimated the Hawks, just like the real celts destroyed actual hawks*
PINEAPPLODON is a monster that is probably not going to be included in THE BIG BOOK OF MONSTRONOMY, so I decided that I wouldn't erase him. I'd say that most of the monsters aren't that ridiculous, but there's actually quite a few.
These pages are from different breaks. Apparently I decided drawing people extra lumpy was a good idea. Then later on I realized that there's a chance that they'll SEE my sketchbook, so I decided to do more flattering portraits.
Kind of.
Yes, that's right I did a semi-attractive portrait of someone. I can do that. I do it often. But that sort of thing, really, let's face it, isn't as interesting as unflattering portraits.

*I don't know anything about Celtic history.
